As a vehicle technician, you check the roadworthiness and operational safety of motor vehicles and carry out maintenance and repair work. The technology in modern motor vehicles has changed considerably in recent years. Highly complex security technology and more and more electronics are now part of this job description. Automotive technicians detect damage to the vehicle, use measuring devices to check various vehicle misdiagnoses and carry out vehicle inspections in accordance with §57a.
