GHB20 OV – Hotel Klaus
In this project, a modern platform lift sets new standards for inclusive guest services.
At Hotel Klaus in Wolkersdorf (Austria), a modern platform lift was installed to improve accessibility and guest comfort. The GHB20OV model (open version) was used, distinguished by high functionality, appealing design, and reliable safety technology.
The lift is equipped with a side rack-and-pinion drive, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. With a platform size of 880 x 1400 mm, it provides ample space for people with limited mobility. Across two stops, the system enables comfortable and barrier-free overcoming of height differences within the building.
With a load capacity of up to 385 kg, the system meets the requirements for passenger transport in hotel operations. Additional safety and comfort are provided by a traveling guardrail in an elegant combination of aluminum and glass. The integrated fold-out ramp facilitates easy entry and exit. A self-dialing emergency call system with GSM module (without SIM card) ensures that help can be quickly requested in case of emergency.
With this installation, Hotel Klaus has made an important contribution to accessibility and comfort for all guests.
